Illusion

Illusion is a distorted perception of reality; a situation where our eyes and mind create a misleading image that doesn’t align with what truly exists. Sometimes, the extent of something’s reality is tied to our perception. The question of whether it’s illusion or reality depends on how we experience it. Since childhood, I’ve occasionally felt as though my body was separating from my soul. It’s as if I were suspended in space, where the concepts of time and space vanish. My mind grows cloudy, and reality fades away. It is from this experience that I began my exploration. I transformed the illusion of the body and soul’s separation into a reflection on the fragility of reality. In my painting, this spiritual fragmentation and distorted perception symbolize the fine line between reality and illusion.
