Desire

This painting is my childhood. As a child, I had a toy with an 8-ball. We would ask it a question, shake it, and when the ball turned, it revealed an answer. This is the world of a little child dreams taking shape, hopes beginning to bloom. The masked butterfly represents me, my mask. Everyone has one. First loves, crashing waves, moments of sadness, they’re all here. The shooting star was added when I learned I would hold my first solo exhibition. It symbolizes the wish I made as a child, the dream of having my own art exhibition come true.bLife is a journey, and on this path, we must never lose our hope.
